How to Find Us
Directions from Pickering:
Take the A170 heading for Kirbymoorside. Just outside Aislaby turn right, it is signposted Wrelton, Cropton and Rosedale. Stay on this road all the way to Rosedale Abbey, drive straight through the village heading for Castleton. About 1/2 mile up the hill take the road signposted Rosedale East (no through road). Carry on along the road for approximately 2 miles, after you have passed an orange digger in a field on the left, turn left (Battling Hills Lane) and follow this road over the river and up to a group of houses where you will find Moorland Farm Cottage.
Directions from Castleton:
Take Blakey Road out of Castleton heading for Rosedale and Hutton le Hole. After approximately 4 miles, take the first turning on the right signposted Rosedale, After descending off the moor take the first turning on the right signposted Rosedale East (no through road). Carry on along the road for approximately 2 miles, after you have passed an orange digger in a field on the left, turn left (Battling Hills Lane) and follow this road over the river and up to a group of houses where you will find Moorland Farm Cottage.
