Set in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors at the end of the beautiful Rosedale valley, surrounded by the dramatic scenery typical of the moors stands Moorlands Farm Cottage, a traditional stone built former farmhouse. Glen and Jan now run it as a smallholding, and they also run a bed and breakfast which is totally independent from the main house, with it's own accommodation and front door.
You have exclusive use of the bed and breakfast accommodation which occupies the original granary and includes:-
One double bedroom with its own en suite shower room upstairs
A separate lounge and dining area downstairs exclusively for your use only
A wood burning stove in the lounge area to keep you cosy and warm on those chilly nights
Ideally situated for walkers and adventurous cyclists
Within walking distance of the Coast to Coast and Lykewake walks
Dogs always welcome
We serve a hearty Yorkshire cooked breakfast with our own free range eggs and homemade bread and preserves,
or perhaps you would like to try something a little different like scrambled eggs with local wild garlic (when available)
Vegetarian and vegan options also available
There is plenty of choice for coeliacs, as I am one myself
